Mr Lewis gave me great confidence in his ability that the surgery would be successful ,especially after performing the same procedure on my husband. Which has been a great success and i am looking forward to getting fully mobile again.

Hi, I had my left hip replaced on the 30th March 2022 and my Right hip replaced on the 25 May 2022, both by Mr James Lewis at Goring Hall Hospital in Worthing. I went to Mr Lewis as he had replaced both my partners knees and they turned out so well it was an easy decision. I cannot speak more highly of James. He is the ultimate professional and he is well ahead of the game, both with his techniques and the implants he uses. My partner is always telling everyone how good she feels about her new knees although they are 3 years old now.

Mr. Lewis explained in understandable detail what would happen before, during and after the knee replacement and took into account my personal situation. My care was excellent, nurses, doctors and all other staff were kind, sympathetic and very caring. I came home with very detailed instructions regarding medication, exercises and care for myself.

I have just had my left knee replaced by Mr James Lewis , he replaced my right knee a year ago and I couldn’t praise him highly enough.Two weeks on from my operation I am without any pain and walking unaided.My physiotherapist was very impressed with my progress at achieving a 112 degree bend in two weeks. Most people only need a one night stay in hospital, which is another bonus ,I opted for two as I don’t live near the hospital and had a long journey to get there, but it was certainly worth it.

Hi, Had a conformist knee replacement 5 months ago now. I'm 69 and love playing tennis , cycling and walking.I kept to the exercise regime religiously. I can now walk about 3 miles in one go and just recently cycled 19 miles. I have to say the knee joint is fantastic but the muscles,tendons and ligaments have taken ages to sort themselves out.My knee does still get swollen and stiff sometimes. I'm hoping to be back playing tennis in another month. I'm really happy with the result and often forget I have had a replacement knee.
